ABOUT ME

My name is Jade.
I'm Woodland Cree from La Ronge, SK in Treaty 6 territory currently living in Saskatoon, SK.
I am an Indigenous educator, podcaster, and artist. I enjoy working with and mentoring youth and helping others share their personal stories.
After graduating in 2018 from the University of Saskatchewan Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP), I taught for a year in the core neighbourhood of Saskatoon as a Cree language and culture teacher.
Currently I am classroom teaching part time with the Saskatoon Public School Division. I also spend a lot of time doing contract work for TakingITGlobal and their CreateToLearn Program.
I have taken time away from being a full-time classroom teacher in order to explore more of my creativity and find other avenues of working in education and art.
